Curriculum

William MacGregor Curriculum Overview

Our curriculum has been designed by our Curriculum Leader and subject specific leaders who have adapted the ATLP curriculum to take into consideration the life experiences of our children and the local context.

The ATLP curriculum has been designed by subject specialists across the Trust including subject specialist from our secondary schools. The quality of the curriculum reflects high expectations for all pupils.

The Intent for the William MacGregor Curriculum

At William MacGregor, our knowledge-engaged curriculum ensures that our children leave us as aspirational learners who are knowledgable about the world, confident and resilient.

The Wider Curriculum

Experiences underpin our curriculum; we work both collaboratively (with our ATLP primary schools) and independently to provide experiences which challenge our children and broaden their lives and attitudes to the world. These expereinces are planned to compliment the learning in the classroom and to take into consideration the life experiences of our children. Please refer to the curriculum overview for further details.
