Safeguarding

Prevent information for Parents

Information, advice and further support on extremism and radicalisation.

In school, all staff and some governors are trained in how to recognise potential extreme behaviour and how to deal with this behaviour appropriately. Staff are updated on this training annually (January). Governors are invited to attend this training. Preventing extreme behaviour is embedded in our curriculum through PSHE learning, learning and respecting different religions in RE and through weekly Rights Respecting School assemblies where topical news stories are discussed in a sensitive manor.
